Can you fail flight school?

In flight school we take three forms of tests. The first is written tests, those require 70% to pass. There is also an oral and practical test, called a “checkride”.

The oral and practical can have three outcomes.

One is to fail, which is retested over only the things that were unsatisfactory.

Two is to discontinue which normally happens because of bad weather so that the flight is rescheduled.

And three is to pass!

Every test can be retaken if unsatisfactory at first!
